-General Information-

Name: Mayu Ave Hayami

Nickname: May

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Appearance/Clothing. Mayu usually wears her pink hair down and sometimes puts little clips and other bobbles in it, just to change it up. She likes to wear dark clothing, as she usually trains and gets out of the house at night time. It offsets her bright hair and she likes it like that. Mayu likes to wear dresses, but she rarely does, as is the Shoukage and she is consistently needing to leave the office. She wears comfortable but fashionable clothes so that it is easier.

Personality: May is very hard working and dedicated to her job, even at her young age. She suffers from insomnia, so she usually never sleeps. The Shoukage constantly strolls around her village at night due to this condition and she has a lot of time to think, which therefore helps her clear her thoughts. Mayu is very, very intelligent and thinks of battle strategies and solutions quickly. She likes kids and works well with both them and adults. May has this quirk that she tries to suppress from the world... She believes that it's dangerous. This quirk or talent are these dreams that sometimes come true. It's a lot like deja vu, but clearer and way more often. She always remembers her dreams, as well. Mayu is overall a decent person, but she's sometimes a little mean or cold at first.

History:

Childhood Arc AGES 0-12 (Academy and Genin)

During Mayu's first five years, she had two loving parents that loved her with all of their hearts. She had a little sister, Ren, and her older brother, Torin, who were both kind and sweet and perfect. She had been happy and safe and loved. She entered the academy at age five and was a natural at everything. Mayu's life was perfect and by the time she graduated, she was a fantastic ninja. The girl worked hard and achieved her Genin rank with pride.

But then... then the visions began. The first one she got was in a dream. It was her house, at first. She watched as the dream navigated through her house and went into her parent's room. Then as she watched, the room lit up bright blazing orange out of nowhere. She cried out, trying to warn her family. But it was too late... Then the dream ended.

Three weeks later, May woke to the roaring fire enveloping her house. After the fire was out, only her mother, her brother and Mayu had survived. Her father was killed and her little sister was never found. She was devastated, because she knew she could have saved them all. This was when the girl had started to hate her gift.

Teenage Arc AGES 13-18 (Chunnin and Jounin)

When Mayu finally reached her Chunnin rank, her broken family was even more broken, as her brother had been poisoned during his Jounin Exams. Soon, my mother became crazed with grief and despair. She began talking to herself and laughing at nothing. She'd go outside to the bridge and attempt to jump if Mayu wasn't watching.

May had always been reluctant to leave her mother alone after that. One of her former teachers told her that she should go in to the Jounin Exams as soon as possible, though she had told him of her brother's death and her mother's condition. The girl had done it anyways. She travelled to the village that was holding them at the time, Kowaiigakure, after she had assigned someone to watch her mother. Once she had passed the terrible tests with no poisoning taken, she returned home as quickly as she could. When she returned home, she not only found her mother alive, but she was well again, for some reason. Mayu thanked god for that tiny miracle.

Adult Arc AGES 19-current time (Kage)

Mayu finally had things back on track. Her visions were controlled, she had her mother stable, she moved out... and she fought for the title of Kage and won. The newly titled Shoukage lived in a beautiful house, in her beautiful village watching and protecting her beautiful people. Life was perfect again. Almost. The thoughts that she could've saved her father and sister's lives still rang in her mind.

Now, Mayu Hayami watches and does her Kage duties, sometimes slipping away into the forest to train at night time when she can't sleep. She visits her mother daily, just to check her status. May still hopes that her sister will show up out of the blue, as they did not find her body in the fire.
